Primary Care Day at the Capitol – Tuesday, February 4, 2025

Each year the MAFP joins the Mississippi Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (MSAAP) for Primary Care Day at the Capitol. We offer a tour of our beautiful capitol, visit the House and Senate galleries, and tour the Capitol Medical Unit where our members volunteer for Doc of the Day throughout the session. We invite legislators to stop by the Rotunda for a visit and special gift during the morning, then gather for a lunch with MAFP members with a special guest speaker.

Academy Advocacy Webinar:
The Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians invites members to participate in one of two of our virtual Academy Advocacy Webinars on Wednesday, January 29th or Friday, January 31st, 12-12:30pm. Our MAFP Advocacy Director, Hope Ladner, will share the importance of advocacy at the state level and will have time for Q&A at the end.
